Assets with an installed agent do not appear in Nanitor
When you installed the Nanitor agent on your asset(s), but they don't show up in Nanitor there could be a couple of reasons. Make sure that:
- The installed agent can communicate with the Nanitor server over SSL. Refer to this article here for further information
- The Nanitor application is installed and running. You should see the Nanitor service running in the activity monitor (Mac) or Task Manager (Windows - "Ctrl+Shift+Escape")
If you have ensured topics do not apply you will need to export the log file created by the agent and send it to Nanitor for further investigation. The log files are placed in a different location depending on the operating system. Refer to the documentation here.
