Upgrading the Nanitor Agent
We're excited to announce the release of Nanitor version 3.8.0, which introduces new features and improvements to help you better understand and manage the health of your organization's IT assets. In this version, we focused on enhancing the user experience by streamlining the information available and making it more accessible.
Here's what's new:
PDF Health Report
The new PDF Health Report allows IT leaders to generate a comprehensive and visually appealing report that can be printed and shared with supervisors or management teams. The report includes:
- Asset overview (count and by type)
- Health of the organization
- Health by issue types
- Health by labels
- Health progress
From the Health status dashboard the PDF can now be exported from the action menu.
This feature is designed to help managers better explain to the board what Nanitor is doing, what it is covering, and how it contributes to the overall health of the organization's IT assets.
Asset Detail Redesign
The Asset Detail section has been revamped to make it more readable and to reduce information overload. The new layout presents high-level data and health information more visibly, using a graphical presentation for initial details and lists for more in-depth information. This redesign turns the Asset Detail page into a device dashboard, making it easier for users to find essential information quickly.
Improved Asset Type Management
Users can now set or change the asset type for their unmonitored assets in the user interface. This includes various asset types such as cash registers, printers, ATMs, etc. This improvement will prevent confusion among users due to rogue devices and ensure accurate tracking of all assets.
Enhanced Hardware Information Collection
Nanitor now collects additional hardware details, including make, manufacturer, model, processors, memory, and disks. This information enhances the value of its basic asset inventory and can be useful for classifying and grouping assets.
We hope that these new features and improvements will enhance your experience with Nanitor and provide a more seamless way to manage your organization's IT assets. As always, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing your thoughts on version 3.8.0.
